Michael Clarke Secures No. 2 Ranking in REB Top 50 Agents NSW/ACT for Ninth Consecutive Year
Leading real estate agent Michael Clarke has once again cemented his position among the state’s elite, securing 2nd place in the 2026 Real Estate Business (REB) Top 50 Agents NSW/ACT ranking - marking an extraordinary nine consecutive years in the Top 2.
The prestigious REB ranking recognises the highest-performing agents across metropolitan, regional and rural markets, measuring performance based on key metrics including sales volume, total transaction value, average sale price and time on market.
Clarke’s continued success comes amid a shifting property market, where agents faced moderating price growth and affordability pressures throughout 2025. Despite these challenges, the state’s top 50 agents collectively settled over 6,000 properties, totalling $16.2 billion in value, reflecting the resilience and expertise required to succeed in today’s environment.
“Achieving a top-two ranking for nine consecutive years is something I’m incredibly proud of,” said Michael Clarke.
“However, this achievement is not mine alone. None of this would have been possible without my wife and business partner, Cherie Humel. From the way a home is positioned to how it’s presented and brought to life for buyers, Cherie and I work to ensure every detail is executed to the highest standard.”
“This recognition is a reflection of the partnership we’ve built together, the trust our clients place in us, and the dedication we bring to every campaign.”
The REB Top 50 ranking highlights agents who demonstrate not only strong sales performance but also deep local market knowledge, outstanding customer service and the ability to guide clients through changing economic conditions.
In 2025, top-performing agents navigated a market where Sydney experienced a cyclical peak before softening towards the end of the year, with home values rising modestly and buyers increasingly seeking affordability.
“Consistency at this level requires adaptability,” Clarke added.
“The market is always evolving, but our focus remains the same - understanding our clients, reading market conditions and delivering premium outcomes.”
With average sales prices among the top 10 agents exceeding $4 million and strong transaction volumes continuing across NSW/ACT, the ranking underscores the high calibre of agents operating in the market today.
Clarke credited his ongoing success to a team-first approach, driven in large part by the strength of his partnership with Humel.
“Every property we take to market is a collaborative effort. From the way a home is positioned to how it’s presented and brought to life for buyers, Cherie is deeply involved in ensuring every detail is executed to the highest standard. That’s what allows us to consistently deliver premium results year after year.”
This latest recognition reinforces Michael Clarke’s position as one of NSW’s most consistent and high-performing real estate professionals - built on a foundation of partnership, precision and performance.
