The prestige market remains strong with listings on the top end of the peninsula at Palm Beach and down around the Manly end. And according to our agents, there are plenty of buyers out there keen to secure a new home on the Northern Beaches!

We have been honoured to have handled the sale of some of the most outstanding properties on the Northern Beaches over the last 12-24 months and have included a selection here that have set suburb and street records.

One of the highest ever sales on the Lower Northern Beaches was 1A Monash Crescent sold by Cherie and Michael for $10,560,000. Anchored to the pristine sands of Clontarf Beach with the captivating sights and sounds of Middle Harbour forming a tantalising backdrop, this Jon King architect-designed masterwork is unequivocally one of Sydney's finest residences.

​Another Clontarf record! 1 Monash Crescent sold by Cherie and Michael for $11,500,000. Complementing its absolute beachfront setting with a Walter Barda designed architectural triumph, no expense had been spared.

67 Bower Street, Manly was sold for $2m above the reserve price in March 2018 by Michael and Cherie. With postcard-perfect northerly ocean and coastal panoramas, this magnificent architect designed executive retreat exudes the resort-like ambiance of a Mediterranean luxury villa.

A new ‘non-cliff side’ record was set at 83-85 Bower Street, Manly when Michael & Cherie sold this property in April this year with a guide of $10m - $11m, breaking our previous “non-cliff side record at 67 Bower Street. This property has one of the largest landholdings of 1,416sqm with dual street access in Manly's premier oceanfront street.

A Balgowlah home sold in April 2019 for $8,510,000. This Balgowlah property was sold off-market by Michael Clarke & Anthony Ross and was negotiated to a buyer from our exclusive C&H database for a suburb record of some $2,000,000. This property was a non-waterfront home on a large block!

Another shining moment in Highview Avenue was a discrete off-market sale, where we managed to secure a buyer from our exclusive database and achieve an astonishing result! The Queenscliff street record set by Michael at 5 Highview Avenue, Queenscliff sold in March for $7,550,000 and was a street record by over $2,000,000.

4 Montpelier Place, Manly sold in August 2018 for $6,710,000 again by Michael and Cherie. Alec Tzannes, a significant Australian architect who helped inform the Australian vernacular; was the talent behind the design of homes in Montpelier Place. The property is nestled amongst the tranquil grounds of the St Patrick's Estate on Manly's exclusive Eastern Hill

16 Brighton Street, Freshwater an architecturally designed Hamptons-style home drawing inspiration from the finest resorts on the planet. Nestled on 1,715sqm of landscaped gardens and lawns and close to Curl Curl Beach, the home successfully sold after a meticulous auction campaign by Mike Dunn in March 2018 for $5,900,000,  a new Record for Property sales in Freshwater at the time, which has recently been outsold by a property that sold for $14,000,000, just to avoid disruption to the Buyers planned renovations next door!
